There is 

nothing new 

under the sun,

except us

and our 

consciousness.

The Stoics believed

no man steps 

into the same stream 

twice. 

 

So, 

the words may be new,

but the themes are

unchanging and

universal:

desire

greed

avarice

tragedy

pain

struggle.

We change 

and the world changes

and none of this is 

new,

except 

this 

very 

moment

and 

everything

it 

touches.
