#twitterverse

To set the world afire
naively, was the dream.
Now my words merely aspire
to be a virulent internet meme.

  1. Ah, but even if your words set small and sporadic fires, this is no small thing! You have your fans. Smile.

    1. Thanks, but much like a cult movie, I don't think I can "manufacture" an internet meme.

    1. Especially if yell "FIRE" in the middle of a theatre! Or as Abbie Hoffman asserted, if you yell "THEATRE" in a middle of a fire! Thanks!

  11. Love this little plate of tapas! The whole "meme" thing left me cold at first, but warming up to it, little by little. Natural caution, I guess.

The Twitter medium is difficult; too few characters allotted. KISS ("Keep It Simple, Stupid") was the mantra at so many community organizing groups where Lex and I did our activist thing!

Off to sunny CA, so you won't see me for awhile. Much love from your sistah, Ameleh

  17. Ha! Love this. Every new medium is another way to not-quite-be-able to set the world on fire. But hope springs eternal. Glad you got this one in under 140 characters! Virulent meme... :)
