These days
we spend like water,
some we squander,
some we cherish.
However,
like all things
these days are finite
and our judgment
will be
whether
we watered the plants,
tended to the thirsty,
washed their feet.
Choose wisely
because some droughts
have been known
to last
for years.
who did we serve...
ReplyDeleteand interesting warning in that last
stanza as well...ha...and the drought will
last well an eternity
